YARRA HILLS SECONDARY COLLEGE CAR SHOW (13 Sep 2026)

Fellow club members, you are invited to be part of a club display at the Yarra Hills secondary college car show, at Reay Rd, Mooroolbark.

Sunday 13th September

We will meet at the Macdonalds in Mooroolbark on Manchester road at 8am and leave by around 8.30am to arrive together as a group at the college which is 850 meters away.

The show opens to the public from 10am and runs until 1pm.

Entry cost is $5 and comes with a door prize ticket.

There will be car category prizes, food trucks and a sausage sizzle, market stalls and a raffle.

Awards will be presented at 12.30pm and after that we can leave.

So bring your car and make it shine so that one of us can come home with an award!

Sandown MSCA Round club BBQ fundraiser (18 Oct 2026)

The Motorsport Championship heads to Sandown for a 'local' round on Sunday October 18th and our club has arranged again to provide a bbq for the event - kicking off with egg and bacon rolls for brekky before the lunch menu kicks in.

This is a very important fundraiser for the club... can you help for just a couple of hours?

We will need cooks, order takers and food servers, as well as a few to help set up and clean up/pack up at the end of the day.

Shift times:

· · 7:00-9:30

· · 9:15-11:30

· · 11:15-1:30 - Busiest time of the day

· · 1:15- 3:30 at the latest for pack up.

Cars, Coffee, Pizza and Cannoli at Pantry Fresh, Clayton (25 Oct 2026)

We have been invited to put on a club display by Pantry fresh and Fired up pizza in Clayton south.

Sunday 25th October from 9am.

693 Clayton rd, Clayton Sth

Its a coffee and cars style event , however Giuseppe will be there running his wood fired pizza shop and Claude the owner of Pantry fresh will have his Italian deli shop open with the barista making nice Italian coffees and running his BBQ out the front with their awesome home made sausages!

Many of you will be familiar with the place and with the food from our previous events there , our 2024 show and shine and the Monash cancer unit fundraiser for Francis.

Entry is a gold coin donation to the cancer council and we will have a space allocated for us to display our cars.

Start arriving from 9am and stay as long as you like, the day runs until 4pm.

Please RSVP by Friday 23rd October so we can advise them how many of us will be there.

Look forward to a seeing us putting on a great display and show those owners of Italian cars how its done!

Sandown 500 weekend club display (7 Nov 2026)

Once again we have secured with the Melbourne Old School Cruisers, a club display at the upcoming Sandown 500 !

For those that have been in previous years, its the same process for tickets and bump in to the event.

RSVP WITH 'YES' or 'NO' only.

'MAYBE' we will count as a 'NO'

Please RSVP by Friday 18th September and only if you are definitely interested as the numbers are limited!

Once you've RSVP please contact Steve Vitas to receive the instructions and the link for purchasing your ticket.

As you all know the event runs for 3 days Friday 6th to Sunday 8th November, with the main display days being the Saturday and Sunday.

Bump in to the starts on the Thursday afternoon 5th November and bump out is after the completion of events on Sunday afternoon (times are still to be confirmed) if leaving your car there.

There is a option to take your car home end of each day, however you will need to re bump in the following morning from 7am if you wish to return.

Meeting point before bump in on Saturday and Sunday mornings is at The Macdonalds car park 754-768 princes Hwy Springvale. (opposite sandown) at 6.45am to leave around 7am or so.

On Friday you need to go straight to the gate at Sandown between 6.30 and 7am.

Please note that these bump in times may change slightly and will confirm with those going closer to the date.

Our display should be under cover but will depend on the numbers we have, otherwise it will be out in the open area.

Ticket price is $62.50 for your car to be displayed, entry for 2 people with paddock pass included (extremely good value!).

You must display your car for at least one of the days.

2026 Club Show and shine at Shannons (22 Nov 2026)

Welcome to our annual show and shine, this year being held at Shannons Melbourne showroom in Heatherton!

Sunday 22nd November.

We will be bumping in to the showroom between 8am and 9am so that you can finalise preparing your cars for the display.

All cars must be inside and parked by 9.15am latest.

We then open for the public to come and see and meet us from 10am and will run until 3pm.

On the day we will be running the club BBQ and we will also have a coffee truck there for a while.

Please RSVP by Wednesday 11th November and advise Steve what car you are bringing and if you will be entering for judging or display only. Also advise Steve if you cannot stay the whole duration of the display so that we can arrange for you to be able to leave early.

For those entering their car to be judged, the judging will commence from around 10.30am or so and hope to have it completed by 12.30 to 1pm.

Judged cars will be given priority for indoor display if we have too many cars, there will be plenty of room in the driveway car parking to display as well.

Those that park and display outside can come and go as you please.

Also on the day if you are able to help out with the BBQ for a little while that would be greatly appreciated.
