  You are invited to our annual show and shine, this year being held indoors at the Penrite Lane 88 museum, 88 Lewis rd, Wantirna South 

  • Date: Sunday 26th October
  • Times: 9 am to 2 pm (members displaying must be parked inside by 10am latest)
  • RSVP: by 20th October
  • Open to the public from 10am
  • Club BBQ will be in force- we need helpers!
  • Corporate sponsors will also have display stands

  There are two kinds of tickets- if you want to be judged and scored, or if you want to just display your car without being judged.

  Judged cars will be parked inside the main factory museum, with display cars parked inside the factory behind. (There’s plenty of parking for those who just want to come for a look too and help out on the bbq - please let me know if you can help out)

  Judging

  We hope you are all keen to get your cars out for our annual show and shine event, so here’s a few tips on doing the best you can.

  Give it a good clean - all paintwork, wheels, wheel arches, exhaust tips, grilles, lights and engine bay to be clean and polished where possible.

  Interior again make sure it’s clean. From carpets, dash, console, door trims, windows, boot , door jams and rubbers - and don't forget the boo!
  We are not looking for everything to be drowned in silicone dressing or armour all....judges are not impressed by that!

  No clutter…remove anything from inside the car that will be in the way of judges looking at and inspecting parts of the interior.

  Lastly, have fun and enjoy.. this is not a concourse event!

  The categories are the same as last year:
  Best of E series, AU, B series, FG, FGX, best ute and best other XR badged cars

  You are invited to our tour of Tasmania 2025 as organised by our long time club member, Andrew Tootell.

  Please read the itineraries below he has planned and contact him once you have purchased tickets for the Spirit of Tasmania.

  Bookings for the Spirit of Tassie do fill up quickly, so don't delay if you are definitely wanting to go!

  RSVP via the email or our web site, so that we have an official list of who is attending. (Andrew will handle all questions and booking details)

  There are two tours planned, a shorter one from October 31st to 5th November and a longer one from October 31st to November 8th.

  Once again we are putting on a display at the Historic Sandown 2025.

  Saturday and Sunday 8th and 9th November, from 8am.

  We will meet at the Macdonalds car park opposite Sandown on Princes Hwy at 7.15am each day and leave by 7.30am.

  Further bump in information will be available closer to the day.

  This year club displays will be on the paved area near the grandstand and on the stand ramp areas as well, plus there is a $500 prize to the best club display, so we will put on a great display!

  Parade laps on Saturday and Sunday before racing starts may be available as well as a photoshoot opportunity (to be advised closer to the date)

  Once you have bought ticket, please advise Steve which day you will be going or if going both days.

  You can go on the Friday as well however the club display days are on the weekend.

  This month sees the meeting on the second Tuesday of the month due to the Cup Day public holiday, at  long time club sponsor- Bayford, 356 Cooper Street Epping.

  We will be putting on pizza's for the night, and kicking off Movember with a bang, or should that be with a shave! 
  We are again taking part in Movember and if our donations hit the target of $3000, Kory will shave his beard off!

• SANDOWN 500 WEEKEND CLUB DISPLAY

  Once again we have secured via MOSC, a club display at the upcoming Sandown 500.

  For those that went last couple of years, its the same process for tickets and bump in to the event.

  RSVP WITH 'YES' or 'NO' only.

  'MAYBE' we will count as a 'NO' 

  Please RSVP by Friday 19th September and only if you are definitely interested as the numbers are limited!

  Once you've RSVP we will send you the link to purchase tickets.

  Any questions please ask Steve, club events.

  As you all know the event runs for 3 days Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November

  Bump in to the event will be the Thursday afternoon 13th November and bump out is after the completion of events on Sunday afternoon (times are still to be confirmed) if leaving your car there.

  There is a option to take your car home end of each day, however you will need to re bump in the following morning from 7am if you wish to return.

  Meeting point before bump in on Saturday and Sunday mornings is at The Good guys car park, 754-768 princes Hwy Springvale. (opposite sandown) at 7am to leave shortly after.

  Our display may be under cover but will depend on the numbers we have, otherwise it will be out in the open area.

  Ticket price is $62.50 for your car to be displayed, entry for 2 people with paddock pass included (extremely good value!).

  You must display your car for at least one of the days.

  You are invited to our club display at the Geelong revival Motoring festival Shannons motor show.

  Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November

  Meeting point will be at the BP in Lara on the princes freeway at a time to be advised once we have bump in time information closer to the date.

  Expect the great raffle as usual and all the updates on everything club wise from the committee to round out another awesome year. Then, we will celebrate our winners for the year in Motorsport and Show and shine. We will also present the recipients of our perpetual awards.
